Detail for Victor Cemetery

Description: This cemetery serves Victor and the south end of the valley, being located against the Teton foothills a couple of miles southeast of Victor. It has a sign identifying the cemetery and is fenced and well kept. Just in side the front gate is an index of the burials. This is deteriorating somewhat from the weather but is currently still very readable as of April 2005.

Directions:

Coming from Victor:
Take highway 33 out of town to the south heading towards Jackson. Between milestone 160 and 161 (closer to 161) you will come to a short connector road (the sign says 00) that cuts back sharply to the left on the right (northeast side of the road). There is a small sign that indicates this is the direction to the cemetery. Turn left and drive a short distance to the Old Jackson Highway. Immediately turn right on the old highway and then again immediately left. 1/2 mile down this gravel road you will see the cemetery on the left side of the road. There is a sign identifying it as Victor Cemetery.

Coming from Wyoming:
Enter Teton County on highway 33. Just past milestone 161 you will come to a short connector road (the sign says 00) that turns to the right (northeast side of the road). There is a small sign that indicates this is the direction to the cemetery. Turn right and drive a short distance to the Old Jackson Highway. Immediately turn right on the old highway and then again immediately left. 1/2 mile down this gravel road you will see the cemetery on the left side of the road. There is a sign identifying it as Victor Cemetery.
